We take every effort to make good surfaces prior to painting when required.
Loose and flaky paint will be scraped back, cracks exposed and filled.
Uneven surfaces will have an all purpose skim coat applied.
Stained areas are treated with an oil based wall sealer.
All areas sanded and dusted prior to painting.
Products used are always premium.

J Frew Painting & Decorating invests time in this process, and ensures that all surfaces are always adequately prepared prior to painting.
RESIDENTIAL EXTERIOR
Again preparation is the key to a quality, long lasting paint.
We will remove all loose and flaky paint, fill cracks with appropriate exterior filler and spot prime any bare surfaces or filler spots.
Rusty scale to metal areas will be removed by mechanical abrasion or wire brush to expose all rusted areas. All rust affected metal is treated with Rust Kill, spot primed with oil based Zinc Phospate Anti Corrosive Primer.
Woodwork will have all rusty nails punched and treated/primed for rust then filled with linseed oil putty.
